Member Onboarding
The Sensible Care Member Portal provides a secure and convenient way for invited family members or representatives to view approved client information, review permitted budget and invoice details, contact the care team, and manage their own account settings.
Members can only access the sections and information that the primary client has granted them permission to view. This guide explains the main features of the Member Portal and how to use each section based on the permissions granted to you.
Receiving the Invitation
Member onboarding starts from the primary client's portal. The primary client sends an Invite to a Family Member or representative, which triggers an invitation email to your registered email address.
Invitation Email
This Email Will Contain
- Your personalised invitation link to join the Member Portal
- Instructions for setting up your account
Tip: Ensure you check your inbox, including your spam or junk folder, to avoid missing this communication.

Setting Up the Password
Upon receiving the invitation email, click the invitation link provided to set up your secure password for the Member Portal.
Password Setup Steps
Step 1 — Open the Invitation Link
Click the link provided in your invitation email.
Step 2 — Create Your Password
Ensure your password meets the platform's security requirements.
Step 3 — Save Your Credentials
This password, combined with your registered email address, will be used for all future logins.
Recommendation: Store your credentials in a safe and accessible location.

Logging In to the Member Portal
Once your password has been set up, navigate to the Sensible Care login page to access the Member Portal.
Login Steps
Step 1 — Enter Your Credentials
Enter your registered email address and password on the login page.
Step 2 — Alternative Sign-In
You may also use the Sign in with Microsoft option if your organisation uses Microsoft credentials.
Step 3 — Stay Signed In
Select Remember Me if you wish to stay signed in on your device.
Step 4 — Access the Dashboard
Upon successful login, you will be directed to the Member Dashboard.
Forgot Your Password?
If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password link and follow the instructions to reset it.

Permission-Based Navigation
Members use the same client-style portal shell, but can only view the tabs and information that the primary client has granted them permission to access. Any restricted areas will remain hidden or unavailable in the Member Portal.
How Permissions Work
The primary client controls which sections of the portal each member can access. Tabs and features only appear if the relevant permission has been granted.
Available Permissions

| View Budget | Shows the Budget tab with the client's budget details |
| View Invoices | Shows the Payments and/or Invoices tab depending on the client's reimbursement configuration |
| View Care Team | Shows the Care Team tab with contact details |
| Manage Settings | Allows access to permitted settings functions |
Member Restrictions
Invited members are subject to the following restrictions regardless of permissions granted:
- Members cannot see the Invite a Family Member option
- Members cannot invite other members
- Members cannot manage or modify the member list
